Purification of process water from industry

Client: Chemical industry

Assignment: Particle separation and purification of dissolved mercury.

Scope: Since the summer of 2018, Envytech has been treating process water from a chemical industry in Västra Götaland. The challenges include purification of particles/susp. and loose mercury. Particle/flock cleaning is performed using a lamella separator. For purification of mercury, a mobile filter system with the possibility of both ion exchange filters and carbon filters has been installed. Our commitment also includes ongoing advice. Current solutions have led to the industry meeting its emission requirements since installation, which was an acute problem when Envytech was contacted.
